'The Curious Place of Psychoanalysis in the Academy' 95K
I was invited to give a lecture at the University of Toronto and chose to reflect on the current place of psychoanalysis in academic life. I asked for information on several internet forums and trawled my own sources and memory. I also make a stand on the significance of psychoanalysis as compared to cognitive and Darwinian psychology. It was delivered to the Program in Psychoanalysis and the Humanities on 9 January 1999.
