This is a draft of the final chapter of a collection of writings by David Armstrong, Gordon Lawrence and me, Group Relations: An Introduction (Process Press, in press). It contains essays, most of which were written in the course of introducing the approach of group relations into Bulgaria, where we have all worked as staff on conferences since 1992, and in transferring the expertise to our Bulgarian colleagues. This chapter tells the story of our work there, some of it pretty frustrating and strange, most of it rather moving and hopeful.
